The only reason a property owner would agree to rental arbitrage is if they see it as advantageous to them over taking a regular tenant.

This is a great place to learn and to connect with people so take advantage of all the great resources.

If you want predictability, value hard assets, and like the tax advantages, then investing in a real estate syndication may be a good fit.

I suspect I’m not the first person the ROW agent has sought to take advantage of.

That is a very good point, and it would be using it in that same advantage.

But I would say I have the personality for it and we were in a good position to take advantage of it.  

The advantage to real estate is that you can compound equity using leverage. 

This property will not compete with hotels is what I thought  We just book multiple rooms next to each other to take advantage of the included Disney transportation.

Sometimes they don’t like that because you don’t have skin in the game.As for advantages to the seller - are you going to pay them more for the property, that would be a perk that I offer in addition to making a little extra on interest for the duration of the loan.

We are sourcing our own deals at this point to get a better advantage.
