@Sara Martin I can relate to your post as I have a friend who would do things (beyond me to comprehend) to save money.

As a contractor I am not working 8 hours purchasing the thermostat, running the wire, setting it up on the internet, programming, teaching the owner how to use the thermostat and then go back to my office and wait for several service call requests that I was positive I would get where I have to go back to the jobsite because the owner can't remember how to program the thermostat, can't comprehend the instructions...not for less than $1500 to $1800 plus he pays for the internet equipment and monthly fee.

I mean I really don't know the answer.. but there are still a lot of markets were homes have been receding in value since the 80s and 90s  think Rural NY  Rural PA   Detroit  etc etc.. maybe they are just getting back to stability and ready to make brand new highs.I really have a hard time though comprehending the Silicon valley and the 2 million dollar 1000 Sq ft 60 YO rancher though  :)  

i did call my lender and asked however i really am not sure if the customer service agent comprehended my question and acted like it was no big deal. 

Having 40 door knobs now is a challenge, I can't even comprehend 300 annual inspections...that's more than one a day considering there are 200 business days in a year.

You bought a LLC that happens to own real estate, this is a very different world then many comprehend in REI as your in Commercial realm, not residential, so best to reframe things and think of it more like you bought a business who owns 10 restaurants.

@Rick H.Your response is ironic, given your last few sentences are hardly comprehendible. 

Yea, it's usually boiler plate but when you're dealing with legally binding documents it's never an assumption to make.Those documents are very boring reads and in legalese, definitely not the easiest to comprehend and impossible to account of every little clause.

Five years.... just a random number :) I figure it's more than one (which is important for tax reasons) and less than 10 (which is just so far away my brain doesn't comprehend it!).
