I've seen a lot of people overpay for their 'future retirement' location and end up regretting it later.

I started looking into bank financing and was discussing it with a retired friend of mine.

People tell me that the best way to live life is hold a steady job and push through the rough parts of life so you can retire like a millionaire in 45 years, but I am more interested in working harder now to live my entire life to its fullest. 

I'm 36 and for the past 10 years I've been very fortunate to have a well paying job with benefits and a retirement plan.
