I’m new to Real Estate investments, although not new to home ownership.I am a Cybersecurity and Risk Management engineer by trade.

Investing in Puerto Rico fits perfectly within our plans of "lifestyle investing" A little about us - I am an engineer in the aerospace industry (mostly working on rocket engines) but my wife is the one with the hard job of staying at home with our two boys. 

Neighbors had a federally backed loan, and were required to have an engineered hills built. 

There are very few contractors I would trust to value engineer and go to for design advice.

I'm a mechanical engineer full-time and enjoy my job but realize that real estate is a solid investment vehicle if done properly... 

Reverse engineer the goal based on a timeline.  

I have very minimal experience doing work but do have some background in project management/civil engineering but honestly that seems daunting.

New guy here - 34 years old and I've been working as a Mechanical Engineer for 12 years. 

I've been vetting deals lately for private equity consideration and notice the due diligence files number between 150-250 (many legal, accounting, civil engineering).
