I wouldn't count on skyrocketing appreciation in a high rise but if the numbers work or you could see yourself living there at any stage in the future maybe not a bad investment.

Are you planning to live in one unit and rent out the others or make them all rentals?

I'm a fairly new investor and live in Prattville.

I can't self manage a property in Florida living in Missouri so I really have no option there. 

I live in California so this housing market is not very beginner friendly.

I am also a Panama resident, and have been trying to secure some additional properties in America, but it would be nice to keep it closer to "home".  

There was some value add and I was able to manage contractors on it since I lived close.

I will be renting out the home to an individual who will be sub-letting the home to an Assisted Living Facility.
