You are potentially allowing them to "drive"/live in your house that is worth far more than a car or an airline ticket.

First factor is that I had a really big ticket item come up out of the blue and wanted to pump the brakes after that happened (had to get creative to absorb the cost). 

Probably even more rewarding to sell tickets to his rallies than the actual real estate.

They have gotten me out of tickets, written letters for me, reviewed docs, and they also answer general legal questions when I have them - instead of paying $150 for a half hour appointment with another attorney.

Big ticket items such as structural, roof, and HVAC repairs also fall into this category.

Previously, people would buy 3%-4% cap rates just to get the appreciation ticket.

Certainly we can find lead generation and funding without throwing down $25-50k for "mentoring".We are in Austin and our local REIA, which we just joined a couple of weeks ago, is run by Phill and his wife.I was wondering why we got free tickets.  

Security or an employee would have stopped him at the front ticket counter going in.It seems the theater has some liability here until those questions are answered.

In full disclosure, I have already won his past promotion to the very first BP REI Summit, where he not only paid for the ticket, but also allowed and extra $500 for flight/expenses or whatever!

But unfortunately his chances are much much greater of getting struck by lightning while picking up his winning lottery ticket after a hot date with Mariah Carey.Not that it can't happen!
