I enjoy the TV shows, I read the books, but I pave my own path.

From there you can get TV time on Public Broadcasting stations and from there are all the Infomercials that you see after midnight that are cheap to pay for.

If the alternative is sitting at home and watching TV, you mine as well do it. 

The home does look impressive from that picture, but as you mention it looks a lot like a "Real World" (the TV show) house or a playboy mansion, than a traditional home.

Sometimes I think I'm secretly on a reality TV show about landlords, sounds like you are too!    

They live in apartments nicer and more expensive than needed, buy luxury vehicles new instead of buying reasonably priced used, waste money on eating out, cell phones, cable TV etc.

walls/windows/appliances. and a contractor stripping wallpaper in a stairway and dining room then texture and painting. replacing a door and know, replacing bathroom vanity mirror, some trash removal(tv)  it's all legit. 

I took out a wall and now there is only one wall to mount a tv.

Everything increasing.Also consider TV/internet packages.
