So something I’ve been thinking about - if you acquire (buy or rent) a property that’s far from where you live, how would you prefer to furnish it so that you can STR it?

As a workaround, we just call the Zillow folks and do the phone screen and set a showing as needed but would prefer they just send us their number.

I am finally at the point where I can afford (barely) to get into a multi-family home and I'm actively looking between Albany, NY up through Queensbury, NY - though preferably somewhere in the middle.

If your buyer has a preferred title company then that's who you will use.

I was wondering what your experience has been in attracting tenants for 1bdr/1bth units, preferably in Pierce County, but not limited to?

I know I prefer gas heat but I also know that I have rented apartments many of times that have had electric heat.
