Hey y’all, I am analyzing multi family properties getting my reps in, as properties come through the funnel I use data.census.gov to find economic drivers for target the property but it’s very tedious, I was wondering what others have used to stream line the process or make finding the data more convenient ?

The idea is that this allocation would not be your main income driver, but it would balance off the public markets when they were doing badly.However, in my opinion a lot of the advice was skewed by the fact that the majority of traditional advisors only understand and know about public markets and many of them know nothing about directly owned real estate.

Many thanks.I recommend the major cities in Ohio:-Columbus, great for appreciation, pp is a bit higher around $220k for multifamily-Cincinnati, has a mix of cash flow and appreciation, average multifamily around $180k-Cleveland, has alot of cashflow potential, average multifam around $140kThere are other smaller markets like Dayton, Akron, and Toledo, however there is not alot of economic drivers to those areas.

If it were in California, I'd probably say don't worry about it, in California, undocumented residents can get drivers licenses, legally, so maybe it's not as bad as we think?
