In Indiana, unpaid utility bills by the tenant that are in the tenants name do not attach to the property.I can tell you that every time I bought a tenants sad story that they needed me to keep the utilities in my name, they left owing me rent and utilities.

They just don't get it and probably won't until they are filling out the application to work at Walmart as the greeter....Very Sad....It didn't have to be that way if they had just planned a litte.
