Only idiots are impressed by cars.Seriously, you could be banking an easy 75 G a year and never go hungry or have to ride the bus.Not to mention the rental property sounds like a loser.

If you are engaging in real estate in an active fashion and generating earned income as opposed to passive capital gains, then you can set aside some of this income into your own IRA or 401k and reduce your taxes on that income (that government match I mentioned above).

Additionally, most folks have savings and are willing to ride things out for a little while, which would mean that there would be a lag.I would say deals can probably be had at higher price ranges.In any case, flipping is not my niche I focus on, so hard to comment on your original question..Ram
