On the surface the idea you get either high interest rate or a property just for the amount of the taxes sounds great.

I agree @Michael Carbajal Follow Up Boss has been fantastic and I'm only scratching the surface with what it can do. 

I'm sure you're a nice guy but on the surface of it you went behind the PM's back and interfered with his business.

Ground preparation- need a support surface otherwise they will sink into the ground.  

That said, I am a firm believer that there is value in listed properties, you just need to find it...sometimes it surfaces as long days on market, or non-conforming properties, and functional obsolescence. 

We had great luck wiping down all surfaces and mopping with a mix of Fabuloso and bleach.

Another thing that I think it's important to remember is that although on the surface it may appear to just be a $70k house, many people on Bigger Pockets buy multiple homes in this price range per year and also need someone to list and sell them at some point.

You would need to speak with an experienced lender if you are looking to use one as they are not as simple as they appear on the surface.
