In Iowa, where I moved from, appraisals are taken with a grain of salt because they almost always magically come back at what the sale price is.Is that not the case here in Florida?!

Didn’t notify the landlord it was damaged, but tried to sue that the landlord should have magically fixed it despite not knowing it was broken in the first place.Insurance got involved, whole case was dismissed.
