The proximity to lake Tahoe and Ski areas combined with tech companies like Tesla in the area there is a stream of people that come to the area.

First I would like to say I'm sorry your going through this, hiring a professional management company would have been your best interest in your asset.

I am an owner/operating partner of a local title company (Legacy Title Agency) and we have come across quite a few fraudulent and suspect deeds in the city of Detroit. 

CONTEXT-(30k in credit card debt, split between 4 cards, mostly in charged off status)(one vehicle loan that was charged off, is now caught up to current, not paid off, 50k original loan amount)(some card companies are contacting me trying to make a deal, so likely only have to pay 20k of debt off.

Is there any company’s that you can suggest that you have had good experiences with and trust or maybe another strategy of managing a long distance STR.

I feel like if it is done correctly (and trees aren't denting it) its a set and forget it. 50 year life expectancy on metal and asphalt shingles will be 1/3 of that. 30 yr only last 25 and 15 if you maintain the shingles. 100% Metal and the insurance company should cover all of that.
