Whether that is deciding on postcard design, buying postcards, buying a mailing list, stuffing letters, mailing letters, taking calls, making calls, etc. if you do something each day towards your goal you're making progress.

i called yellow letters and inquired about it too. the problem is that i have a full time job, hate to spend 30k (~$5k times 6 tries) with the hope of landing a deal. i think i am better off not talking to homeowners and leaving that difficult part to someone that's great at doing it.CL is a great suggestion, btw. last time i looked there were just dumpy detroit houses, nothing in farmington hills, westland, redford.

In addition, follow that up with a letter reiterating what you said.I only text my tenants to inform them of the need for a contractor to enter the premises, or for work that is going to be done outside the premises.

I'm talking about taking months after months to close on a deal and having your money tied up; every time you spend a dollar the bank wants to know why and have you write a letter…lol.
