The sellers also needed to find a new home to live in so the extra time benefited them.My two cents is to not be discouraged about your offer as you do not know the seller's situation and the contingencies on the other offers.  

Hey folks,This situation has not happened to me before so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has been through this.On August 16 I received a seller's counter offer on a property.

Is there something they could do to enter the world of real estate investing in their current situation?

The price is high for a reason, people are moving to Colorado at an alarming rate.

I never was approached by a non-US Citizen before and I am uncertain of how to approach the situation.

The prospects are upfront with their situation, have fairly good jobs and things checked out.  

Yes and the commercial loans mainly look at the financial situation of the property, not the owner.

If anyone has information about my situation/market that they can help me with I would GREATLY appreciate it!
