If your response was "trying to make a huge cash on cash return" I'd have a different response.Personally, I have my airBnB and self-manage, but use some nice tools like yourporter and booking lab to help automate a lot of my process. 

The scammers will keep doing anything that works, including the call I got last week asking me to donate to police services and it was fully automated using voice recordings.

There is no way this can be estimated and automated, you have to have walked at least 100 properties to understand what things cost.

I find it's easiest to automate everything and put it somewhere, where you can't touch it

Initially I will be taking all the calls personally for the experience and will soon thereafter put systems in place to automate this a little more, but for now I’m not scared about receiving 50 calls/week.

I'd guess Automation will be our next big hurtle.

However, the big banks, particularly those with strong international presences have the most robust controls and most automation around those controls.JP Morgan Chase & CitiBank probably do the most international lending, including highly complex syndicated lending in the international space.  

As for value they will their in house AVM (Automated Valuation Model) which works similar to Zillow/trulia. 

I think you want to try to automate as much stuff as possible, while still be willing to do manual labor for stuff.
