A trade line on a credit report is something like a credit card (R-revolving debt) or car/furniture loan (I-Installment debt).

I do recommend very strongly before you go buying the same list everyone else is buying and worry too much about dialers and the such that you take the very first right of passage that I believe every investor should take.DRIVING FOR DOLLARS.This is also probably one of the lowest cost of entry while also being one of the surest paths to success.Simply start going through the B and C areas of your town and start looking for signs of distress and abandonment.Look for the tall grass, homes that you can see right through at the windows, homes with no curtains and no furniture inside, damaged mailboxes, mailboxes with no doors, missing mailboxes, cars with expired tags which have obviously not been moved in quite awhile, etc…Once you have found 20-50 addresses, look them up on the county’s property appraiser.Here is a link to a site that will pull up the property appraiser, clerk of courts and tax collector for every county in the country. 

I have seen a lot of STRs lately for sale. or seeing a lot of furniture sales from STRS. or the STRs are moving more to medium term rentals.

I just bought a house in Indianapolis and need it cleaned out- lots of dirty furniture and household items.

Did any potential buyers get upset when they got to the house and there was no " real" furniture ? 

We have enough money to live very comfortably next to the richest movie stars, but we really enjoy living the most simple and non-materialistic life a person can live.We live in a commercial building at out plumbing company with concrete floors, raised two children in this building  who now go to college and we own zero furniture.

One agent says I don't need to stage and can use my own furniture.

By enjoy I just mean, if I had it my way, I would be able to achieve financial freedom by building furniture in my garage, or making mugs on a pottery wheel, but that is not the reality I find myself in.  

Is the furniture comfortable?

But at this point we'd probably be looking at purchasing a place and listing it without ever seeing the place in person (pre-covid we had planned to make one trip out after purchase to get the place set up).Are there any PM companies that would potentially handle stuff like furniture deliveries/setup, keeping the place stocked, etc but would take a smaller cut if we handle the front end bookings and whatnot?
