I'm still trying to decide whether to have plans drawn up by a draftsman or an architect. 

I might be able to refer you to an integrated architect/GC but would need to know more about the project first.

If your client is really interested in getting into this world, they need to start talking to architects/developers/GCs first.

The property needs an overhaul which I have good experience with that and my team (from architects to finishing).

Given that this is getting close to completion, I felt it was the right time to share more of my personal story here with the BP Community.In December of 2018, I engaged @Adam Mayberry as a architect/designer for my project. 

Also is it worth hiring an architect for this work if I have a contractor that will be taking on all the details? 

It’s been great.There’s resources but it’s specific to us architects being a developer.

I met with another prominent investor in the community who was very discouraging and almost seemed to look at me like competition.
