A few days after the issue took place, they weren't mad about it anymore and they didn't want to do long term harm to our business.The only way for the review to be removed is for the guest to call up support and explain the situation and why they'd like to remove the review.Anyhow, it's kind of a longshot, but it worked in our case.

My view is that the negative cash flow, the increased hassle and costs of OOS, where we are in the market cycle (most of the appreciation occurred between 2012 and 2017), it is highly risky to produce any return in 5 years (meaning I think it is unlikely) and moderate risk at 10 years (I think there might be return but I suspect it will not be enough to justify the effort and investment).

My wife and I have strong W2 earnings at about 250k combined and it doesn’t appear that any flow through tax breaks are occurring due to owning a rental.

Luckily that specific issue didn't occur but omgggg the impact can be huge.That's the reason we have booking rules, but if your booking rules don't sync over properly, forget about it.
