Great education and worth the $400 and the $97 to join his site but I wasn't interested in paying $20k+ as an apprentice and work with a coach, etc, etc and go full time into this.

Aka bringing back coach houses/additional dwelling units. 

That is where I think these paid coaches/gurus really cash in because they profit on the opportunity to gain access to others in a "pay to play" business concept. 

This would swing me from about $2400 mortgage payment to about $2400 income (which would go directly to the second house mortgage), so from my perspective I would eliminate my mortgage payment through renters at both properties, while doubling my ownership and appreciation.I'm looking for advice or BP friendly coaches/realtors/investors to discuss.

I'm financially independent and wealthy, but I haven't written a book, no coaching business, and I haven't started a syndication or even a partnership.

I have also considered joining a coaching group that would give us access to passive deals, introduce us to other investors, and teach us how to underwrite big apartment buildings.I am writing this post because I need some direction, and I'd like to see what others in the biggerpockets community might recommend based on their own experience and the information I've provided.

I bought a multi family property, joined BP, and starting buying more properties.He fell in love with a guru who (for thousands of dollars) will coach him through borrowing a quarter millions dollars that he couldn't honestly qualify for to buy a distressed hotel business that he has no idea how to run.

The benefits to joining a team are:- A team leader who serves as a mentor/coach to help you hit your goals faster- Access to team leads - Access to systems, tools, resources to significantly shorten the learning curve- Access to team's current listings/transactions to help you market yourself...

I am also coaching and mentoring others to get started like me.
