@Matthew Samson I’ve owned a business for 30 years and had some complicated tax issues due to having multiple investments in various states.

I've been attempting to find some local wholesalers to be put on their lists.Located in Lansing, Michigan, does anyone have ideas on how to find local people, or are there any on here looking for more buyers?

If they aren't able to reduce your taxes then they don't get paid.I assume they are selective about which appeals they will take on since there is no benefit to them or the homeowner to not be able to win an appeal, but I have no knowledge of their internal business logic. 

As long as you price it correctly, people will see the house condition matches the listing photos (professionally done), they will take the property as soon as they see it.

First thing I always ask people who ask me about doing STR is do you have a regular w2 and do you want to do another job?

In my market, we still believe that welfare recipients shouldn't have nicer housing than people that work full-time, so Section 8 pays less than what I can get on the open market.

Then I brainstorm options in a people/process/technology framework.

Hi all - my business partner and I have found a nice property we are interested in and are trying to decide between a conventional 30 year through our lender, or the owner financing offered by the owner, which is as follows: Price is $280k, would need to put 30% down and it would be amortized over 15 years at 1% below market rate.
