Not sure what the layout looks like or location - but in a solid location, which I'm assuming since it's an STR, you should be able to in the ball north of $800-1000 per room and even more so for the rooms with private baths.

Based recent STR projections, we expect about $40,000 in annual revenue for a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath house near Rivermount Blvd, which would only net us a couple of hundred dollars in monthly cash flow.

I just checked my lake house because we are considering an off-market house down the street for STR. 

It's directly across the street from me so it would be perfect for my first mf property.

A good way for a newbie to understand the variety is to visit a website like Crowd Street, ShareSFR, FinResi etc.

If you find yourself throwing a punch in a street fight, you've already lost.
