There is still a fair amount of demand, but I am seeing a lot of clients postponing their search - maybe 10% of people I've interacted with have actually said in writing that they are canceling their search for now, and/or are expressly waiting to see what happens or delaying their move to Boston. 

Buying foreclosures can be a good strategy, however at the current moment I believe all foreclosures have been postponed (at least here in ohio they have been) until the COVID 19 pandemic starts to clear.

I have seen several HMLs either stop, pause, or postpone certain programs due to what is transpiring today. 

Thats why states have only postponed rents and not forced owner to forgive rents. 

Many States have postponed eviction proceedings during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The market felt for a while like December, just slower, but buyers are getting restless and we have not had enough inventory before, it got squeezed even more by covid, as many sellers did not want to have people in their homes and just postponed until later.

Needless to say, we were well within our legal rights to do so and ended up building a 500 ft road that cost us $32K and several months due to rain postponing the work schedule.
