I care less about past or future.

I'm not sure I'm ready to tackle Clermont as a market to farm, but it would be great to trade some perspective since we're not too far apart in our RE journey.

I'm moving into a lower income neighborhood where there are corner stores in between houses and folks sitting on their stoop during working hours, and the crime is lower there than the city I live in with 500K homes and horse farms.

Of course, it costs money to get the judgement, so it becomes a cost-benefit decision on the best use of your time and money.When I was a kid, my parents hired someone to help on the farm (New York State).

It is a family friend and they are looking to sell, it needs a major rehab on the entire property but my wife likes the location(about a block from our pastor’s house) and in the school district she teaches in.

If the pastor has a moral failing, takes an unpopular stance, or drama starts it can tank fast. 

If so then you would be purchasing that portion as investment no different than a family farm with primary residence and agricultural land all on the same parcel - or a home office = or a BNB.
