Also remember California is very tenant friendly, so if you did rent it and want to sell it, how much would that cost you (ie how much would you have to pay the tenant)?

Hey @Lei Wei I'm from Maui and have been in STRs since 2012 but never bought in Hawaii because they are not friendly towards STRs.

While some agents have legitimate pocket listings (like selling between friends or family members), without a presence on major platforms, it's difficult to verify legitimacy.

Shortly, after joining I was able to help a friend that was in sticky situation with his home and also helped another family with theirs.
