I've seen vet bills pile up on folks and it's no different from having a disease or medical problem yourself.

Theres a lot of debt to go around in my house, as my younger brother (19) has a combination of a defect in his aorta valve as well as the disease hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (probably spelled that wrong, its the same disease that most of the young highschool atheletes died of on the court/field from being undiagnosed, thankfully his aorta defect allowed for frequent testings and caught it ahead of time) and a mytochondrial defficiency in his skeletal muscles.

I'm about 100% sure the doctor wont say "those lesions are from bedbugs".... they will likely say "these lesions may/may not be compatible with bed bug bites"....if you are lucky they will find some other definitive form of skin disease where they can say "this is disease X and it is NOT from bedbugs".

He stated that the area overall is bad...what if the "disease" spreads?

Compared to the total population, this is a very small percentage of deaths, compared to that of other diseases, viruses, and bacteria.

Contact the Centers for Disease control and tell them they're stupid for referring to any sort of AIDS infection
