Toothpaste on the faucet, something smeared on the counter tops both sound pretty trivial in terms of cleanup, IMO.

For the second unit, i think some laminate counter-tops, carpet, and paint, would be enough to really refresh the unit, and cost maybe around $4,000. 

As a personal aside, i installed a 5-foot by 9-foot quartz countertop in my own personal dwelling to facilitate lunches with my wife and 4 kids, and it's too big. 

The intent is to preserve the property though, you cannot go and add on rooms or replace laminate countertops with granite and expect to be paid for that.

Hi Everyone -I am looking for a good counter top dealer (i.e Quartz, Marble, Granite) in the North Jersey area (perhaps in Newark?).

Quick Details:Laminate flooring thats around ~$2.20 a sqftQuartz/Granite countertops of ~150sqft8 White shaker kitchen cabinetsNew AC unit, and new heating.

It doesn't show real nice, lots of yard clean up, fix falling facia, new surrounds and fixutres in bathrooms new counter tops in kitchens and fresh paint my realtor/property manager thinks it'll will appraise close to $80k she sells a lot of small multis in the area from her owners.  

Completely renovated with refinished original hardwood floors, fresh interior and exterior paint, granite counter tops, and oil bronzed fixtures.

I was glancing through the footage and I heard an independent agent from a different company inform a potential buyer that granite countertops can cause cancer.
