Since we allowed our teenage/young adult children to be part of the deal, they've been part of the renovation process - learning how to demo, budget, and get their hands a little bit dirty :) It's been a fun project and we're now hoping to turn it into a short term rental.

The tenant's teen age son had serious anger issues and broke back into the unit, got drunk and they set off fireworks in the unit and got arrested.

I had to do this with my teenage son who would always leave his bathroom light on.

We explored selling the house last year, but we have a couple of teenage kids that are set and comfortable and decided not to uproot them and their life while they're in school.I'd love to connect as well.

So clearly, it’s never too late (or too early) to start.Just to clarify though, since I’ve seen a few posts this week on this forum from teenagers and Idk your age, wait until your an adult to actually start wholesaling.

Hey Cole, I can relate to your post and find myself in a very similar situation, married, living in Brooklyn, two kids, one of which is a teenager, and two NYC rental properties. 

A little hesitant on this one, moving my wife and new teenage foster daughter to Detroit but I think it could be life changing.
