Every area is different, site conditions will bury, local access to the materials and delivery or make a difference.

What other creative ideas do people have and enjoy or have great feedback from residents These don't have to be free of expensive just creative ......Parcel lockers for package delivery and package management systems. 

The issue sounds like with the delivery method chosen, since it prevented the check getting there in time. 

Secondary impact: Uber drivers, insurance companies, delivery services, dry cleaners, retail, yoga studios, performers / athletes, manufacturing, housing, construction and by proxy the entire economy.

Valid point, but in this instance all my tenants are millennials, and they have a lot of deliveries coming in each day including  food deliveries that require doorbell. the building has thick brick walls (4 layers of brick) so cellphones barely work inside.. 

Dispensaries didn't close, they went delivery only and are CRUSHING IT...Dispensaries have become inundated with orders since the change, and many have implemented certain parameters like $50 or $100 minimum order thresholds and a limited ordering time period just to handle that demand.With dispensaries allowed to stay open but in-person sales barred, the state expected delivery demand to skyrocket.

The winners will be delivery and freight companies, healthcare companies, online providers, folks that start online businesses etc etc
