Assessors know many give up or do not want to put that much time in it to win the case.I see it here in GA in Fulton county where they are so back logged with appeals people have pending cases for years "still under review".The boards can then bill higher taxes and then render the cases verdict later on with credits when the market is stronger and the city and counties are not bleeding cash as much.

What I have not done, put vinal siding on, never laid formica, never cut granite, not a cabinet maker but I built inset boxes/cabinets, never did log siding or logs, no real slick concrete finish, no foam insulation work, no hvac except ducts hung, and other odds n ends, so lots I never did.

Not super familiar with these as far as financing goes.Something also to consider is a 'farm house' where you can lease the acreage out for ranching/farming/logging and so on.I only mention all of this because I live in a multifamily myself it was my first home purchase.

I thought about selling it and cashing out, but now i have my ski cabin.I have heard that making sure there are no title issues can be an issue, so I spoke to my title guy and was very cautious and it worked out.I log on every few days looking for the next one.
