Should be up on the latest technology and trends.

While I've made a modest living understanding the basics of technology and business, I have always known that corporate America isn't my long term calling.  

As much as technology helps make live more convenient, it would be hard to completely replace a role such a property manager, who would be able to really make or at least advice you on making decisions best aligned to your goals and objectives.

I am finding there are tons of tools, technology and resources that make not only finding good deals possible, but conducting due diligence, buying and managing remote properties very possible.

We have about 300 units under management, and utilize the newest technologies and tools, and we typically run a 97% occupancy rate across our entire portfolio at any given time. 

Use technology to stay up-to-date on a daily basis and you need to keep the ability to jump on a plane and get there if need be.

There are great, flexible brokers in every market that would love to have the enthusiasm and the potential business of an investor/agent.Some people think that technology will make real estate agents obsolete in the next decade.

My background is in technology, having worked with and invested in tech startups for over 15 years.Investing in real estate has always been part of my long term plans, although my other passions and interests have put it aside for too long.  

With all of the scams involving technology I don't know how you could successfully use email lists.
