Usually if you don't hear from the selling agent, they may be either entertaining another offer or worse, using your offer to get another offer they're negotiating higher.  

So you can entertain the low interest rate by slowly paying it off.

I live in Los Angeles and we have our own industries that draw transient workers (particularly entertainment, an industry I'm a part of) - if I can find the right place, I'd love to do corporate-style rentals for actors or crew in town for projects.  

With that said, most of the auction sites I have entertained, I would be 100% sure on buying a property before bidding.

My fixed monthly bills are about $750, excluding food, gas, entertainment. 

I know if the numbers work some investors will pull the trigger no questions asked, but also on the other side of the spectrum some investors won't entertain the idea of buying site unseen.

Not sure if you would entertain coming down to Kalamazoo, but @Josiah Swartz organizes a monthly meeting there.  

I certainly wouldn't entertain the idea if it were a liability for anyone.

So why would they even entertain such a lowball offer?
