Had a general question for anyone with experience in relocating.I’d love to get a multi family that’s also a great deal but at the same time I feel like I need to balance getting a good deal but still face the simple fact that my family needs a place to live.So are there any recommendations for a good compromise between getting a good deal and getting something that’s good enough in my time frame?

A buy and hold investor who buys a property at 50% retail cost in need of minimal updates.If anyone goes out there and does enough deals, they will eventually have one of these homeruns.I think that some people will bypass good deals because they don't think that they are good enough.

I have around 12,000 in my bank account and use my time reading books, researching online, playing the stock market with imaginary money, and recording my progress through excel.So my plans for the future are to find good deals on multifamily homes, rent them out, and repeat the process increasing the number of units(cashflow) per year through exponential income until i'm good enough to 'retire' or have financial freedom off passive income and ultimately explore other passions.
