So I will be requesting photos of recent work and contactable references and even ask if I can view some of their recent jobs in person.The painters I don't think I need to be too scrupulous about and will just ask about their experience and for 2 references I can contact.I plan to bargain shop and buy all the materials and equipment myself.Has anyone ever run a project in this fashion?

Cities are not approving additional outdoor storage yards, but they are desperately needed for construction, heavy equipment, fleet parking, etc.

Tim,Not sure if it was overkill or just what they needed to do with the equipment available at the time. 

I don't want to start having to equip rental units with alarm systems and pay for the monthly fee that goes along with it.

(If you need to do need to clean carpet with equipment, that might be another 100-200).

I COULD go get a loan right now from a hard money lender, go buy a house that I HOPE will sell, fix it up with some elbow grease and the use of contractors, and sell it.ORRRRRRRRRI could be smart (Trust me, I want to just do option A) and I could be the pupil of a seasoned flipper, learn the language, meet contacts, and absorb every bit of information they give me inexpensively with the exception of valueable information.It might not be making me money right now, and I may still be an average 19 year old while learning how to play the amazing game of real estate.

Correct I am working with a developer who is taking down the land,  building the asset and then I come in with the equipment package etc as a tenant.  

I would be skeptical of free sewer imaging judging by the equipment and time involved in doing so.
