If the damage is severe and requires temporary relocation, the last thing you want to have to deal with is negotiating lodging accommodations on your behalf.

As for your contract, is housing provided, or will you be finding temporary housing during the course of the contract?

I am originally from Atlanta and the combination between the nature parks, cleanliness, and the friendliness of locals quickly convinced me to make the move more permanent in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach markets.

Add some plants, temporary ones, that if they die off is okay, but for now during the marketing phase add them.

The only restriction being that on federally funded programs, like FHA loans, that temporary buydowns (2/1 buydown) are only allowed on fixed rate mortgages and NOT on refinances and ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgages).

In fact, the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors® (PASS) requires that ALL members of an office are members - or none are allowed to be. 

In your state that may pose some issues if the jurisdiction has temporary non eviction laws.
