The first 4 days of no contact and no police, or national guard protection was also scary.

At the same time, keep in mind a Camero costs more for insurance and a red Camero is a police magnet.

If they dont, the police will show up and help them move out.In no case, you cannot force the tenant out on your own.

The police said that their work is done but that there is blood on the carpet etc.  

I called the police to have him charged with burglary but believe the officer wrote it up as a civil matter because he claims "the door was open" and the materials were his.

In fact, twice I drove the ones on Aftonshire (the blue flood damage ones) and both times there were police responding to calls.

I told her to have the police drive by the house to check and see but they will not be able to get in.

After a few months he must of told his friend that the house was empty (and I was out of state) and gave then the key he stole.Apparently they've been there for 3 months or so and I was able to get her phone number and was trying to be nice and give her the chance to leave willingly before involving police/court.

The difficulty from what I see is that these sorts of scams are mostly small and local police are ill equipped to investigate and prosecute especially since most of the criminals are not local.
