As Theresa mentioned, the police deal with all kinds of abuse and will typically treat it the same regardless of the relationship.If your tenant reported physical violence to the police, they would instruct her to file a report and then request a no-contact order or something of that nature.

In open court the judge instructed the young attorney on what he should say and do to get the sale overturned.When there are multiple owners and the property is not deed as "with rights of surviviorship" deceased owners obviously don't get notice, so technically all of those sales are deficient of notice.And judges sometimes expand the notice requirement, as tax authorities are to make a diligent search to find people/entities using other means like the internet, etc.
