I agree with others have said about setting up a financial foundation, etc. since you don't have money or credit, bring your labor/hustle.since you said you like your job as a driver, use it to your advantage.

Look into Cleveland, its got good cashflow potential with appreciation happening as well.Looking for appreciation come to Columbus, there are still 1% deals, but the more attractive part is the population growth and other economic drivers!

@Shiloh Lundahl   very subjective topic and coincidentally every reply will be a subjective opinion but what that said each outcome depends on the person in the drivers seat and the unique attributes and qualities that make up that person be it positive or negative.

Plus it's safer than any car or SUV and it will basically drive you to and from work, so it's almost like you get a free driver included also.Life's too short to drive around in old, unreliable cars.

In Texas a driver makes 150-200k a year.

But, I would consider how much time, effort, money would it take to get it back if you let it go, then changed your mind.When I got my CA RE agent license circa 1990 it was easy as a drivers license test.So, super easy.

Uber is already replacing drivers with automated taxis.

Well, that and the terrible drivers, but that's another story. . .
