The rationale for considering the Nest Protect is the ability to be notified on my cell phone when an alarm is triggered, the ability to pinpoint exactly which alarm went off (location and whether it was smoke or CO), the ability for the alarm to turn off the forced air furnace (already has a smart thermostat) when it detects smoke or CO, and the ability to turn off the alarm from my cell phone once I know it's all clear.I don't currently get many nuisance alarm complaints at this tri-plex. 

I was referred to Cozy for an app to use when screening which is fine, i can do that through my iPhone.

I do buy and hold and air bnb out of Seattle.

Every single time there was a problem with the property, the heat or air going out, clogged pipes/toilets, they were very understanding and worked great with my contractors.

It aired in 2017 and people constantly contact me and tell me they could really relate to what I was saying. 

We would live in the 1st floor unit, but we were thinking of renting out our basement as an Air BNB.
