It might sound crazy to some, but I prefer to replace all the doors and woodwork because I would rather have standard doors and standard trim.

They waited a couple days so it was then the weekend, and charge a weekend rate for the "emergency" tree trimming.  

Then depending on the door frame, you could need to reinforce it with a 2x4 and re trim it accordingly.

this kitchen doesn't suck, it's the lighting (or lack of it) that's terrible lol like others mentioned, lose the fluorescent and drop some recessed (can-less) lights. super easy to install and very affordable (amazon $100 for 12). the kitchen does need some contrast. i'm not the best at picking colors, but we did ours in blueish gray with white cabinets and it looks fantastic. trim would make it pop as well.

There is multiple holes in the walls ranging from tiny nail holes to door handles being pushed through the walls. one set of mini blinds were destroyedThe dead bolt lock set is brokenThe dogs have scratched the inside and outside of the door and trim as well as chewing the cord that powers the back porch light, and has dug multiple holes in back yard against the foundation.

I pick up these 12 x 12 mesh-mounted mosaic glass tiles at Home Depot for around $5 a sheet; easy to trim with a scissors to fit as needed.

I have had a similar incident happen with a tree trimming contractor but it didn't go anywhere. 

Wife and I are spending $20k on rehab for a house we just bought, but $12k of that is a new AC unit, new roof, new fence, and new exterior trim.
