For Fort Wayne specifically, there are some projects going on around the old GE plants and the riverside areas. 

I've heard that close to the Nuclear plant property taxes are very low, which is a huge plus when owning buy and hold.

If you plan to keep it, I suggest planting fruit or nut bearing trees on it or timber.
