More importantly, will these owners go to market with their properties after not being able to win the lucky ticket?  

Your agent should try to find out what the winning bids were on the homes that you put offers on so that you have an idea of what you're up against. 

Its also a great method to win people over and  persuade them.

If you do things right people wont be able to win a law suit against you. 

The house hack doesn't have to completely pay for your living expenses to be a win.

@Kevin Sobilo I think there is a long shot chance he could try to sue after, but I think it would be time consuming and expensive to pursue, and the chance of winning slim. 

We see lots of landlords fail to communicate with tenants when there are problems, they then find themselves in no win situations if they are ever forced to litigate.Feel free message me if you think I can help further.

We've got something where we're in a great position - to see long term appreciation on the asset - and cash flow throughout the term - it's a win already - but really something I think in 10 years we look back and are amazed at.
