Take these with a grain of salt!

That way my rent is about in the right spot.I haven't bought my first rental property yet though, so you may take my suggested opinion with grain of salt.

I've learned to take these with a pinch of salt. 

I am taking peoples responses with a "grain of salt."

The Hohokam people who lived in the area of what is now Phoenix from around 300-1500 AD had an elaborate system of canals and irrigation ditches from the Salt and Gila rivers.

When consuming financial media (print journalism, talking heads on CNBC et al) I never forget that no one has a crystal ball, and do my best to look for objective facts (which are useful provided they are accurate and in proper context), and take any opinions / projections with a very big grain of salt. 

@Colleen Murphy Take this with a grain of salt, but most low to mid-range rentals in the Midwest rely on window a/c units...which is perfectly acceptable (just don't skimp and install them right if you do this).

Sometimes I just think that forums like this are OK, but really, I take a lot of the stuff/opinions on here with a grain of salt.
