As @Jason Bott pointed out, the concern is not owing a judgement, its being drug into court.

So you could have been after the owner for the last 20 years to sell.Now it has gone to court, the taxing entity has won a judgement and sometime soon it will be scheduled for auction. 

Each mentioned the tenant had several previous judgements against them so clearly the management co wasn’t screening ... and they’re a prominent advertiser in that useless rag of a magazine called CREW.Avoid those guys.

All in all, if you can make good judgement and know how to run your business you can sway a bit from saying hell no to everyone unless they meet this and that.

Is that to say that regardless of the judgement amount the debt left over remains and can be sought after in other ways?

that of course means all the smaller guys who used to use credit score will now eyeball the information and make a qualitative judgement,  and all the bigger organizations will dump that information into an algorithm of their choice and generate their own number internally.

I'm currently researching and exploring all avenues.I was looking at past foreclosure auctions in Florida and found that some homes sold for less than the final judgement amount to 3rd party bidders.
