Comparing deals only on projected numbers would clearly seem risky, yet done quite often.When the splits showed up, and considering the "boost" concepts above, one might expect the boost to the investors with upside equity to have instantly increased how the deals stood out in comparison to other traditional non-split deals in the same market & time.
