I work remotely, so I could be chilling in Malibu or something rn, and still saving money.

They had also stuff like you mentioned above...sauna, swimming pool, a really nice entertainment area with this huge TV, chilling area etc.

On the flip side, which only you would know, if it is a chill, super relaxed job and the income is significantly higher (on an hourly basis) than what you could get (hourly) at a PT job, then I would still re-consider.

I know that if I hold the title/mortgage in my personal name, transferring title alone to an LLC (while continuing to hold mortgage personally) is utterly pointless because it will pierce the corporate veil.

Normally that chills out a bit over the winter, even in California where there isn't snow.

The compete hypocrisy, lack of self-awareness, and utter gall is astounding, I know.

Best case scenario you'll earn and learn along the way and the market will chill out a bit and you'll have a great opportunity to buy some properties after a round of syndications or two, OR (possibly more likely) you'll see the sweetness of the true mailbox money and be indelibly changed.
