Also, the town 15 miles away is having a growth spurt (45 miles out from Dallas Metro) and is having a major infrastructure railroad hub moving in - 9000 acres quietly bought up in the last 2 years by the railroad. 

Have really enjoyed Vegas in past trips (non strip) and my wife and I are considering it as our next hub.
