Office space is gutsy at this time with many companies working remotely, maybe part of your investment was to bet that people will be coming back to work in person.  

Personally I like the work part and building up to something.

Fewer still actually show-up to deliver the value in-person. 

Since the original loan was apparently for a primary residence an LLC could never qualify because it isn't a person who would owner occupy the property. 2.

For me personally, I am hesitant to sell unless it really makes sense.

Some people love that as the initial numbers look good, but probably over the long term they get tired of the common issues landlords face.It's not that hard typically to find a move in ready property, or even to find one that needs minor repairs, where you can capture the equity yourself vs the person selling it to you. 

Data point: we have a long-term rental in a popular STR neighborhood listed through Zillow right now.Every person who writes asking to do some sort of arbitrage is blocked by the Zillow platform.I don't even have to say "no thank you anymore."  

Bloody oath I do mate.It's never their fault and always yours (Ours).They rarely take any responsibility and cry victim.It's crazy to think but it's like many intentionally look for drama and deep down inside don't want success but rather problems.Someone to dislike and blame and to feel wronged by.All other personal and "at home" issues can now be blamed on this one unfortunate scenario.This "drama" per se is like food for the hungry and they need such drama in life to "survive".My apologies if my above comments sound weird as they are more so from a philosophical standpoint and just some thoughts that I have considered after 5,000+ investor intro calls and as you have mentioned, others feeling wronged by me or my company on many occasions.What a $#@% way to live IMO but I don't judge and sleep in peace.Again, I have been "wronged" by many but consider it my own fault.I also don't call them out publicly or post bad reviews, etc... 

CT spots like Bridgeport and New Haven also pop up a lot in conversations about good starter markets.

For example of above, there was a person I know, they bought a house for a rental, the square footage was enough to make a 3rd bed out of a dining room, that would increase the month rent by $400.00 a month if they did that..
