@Charles AdamsThat is a game changing statement for sure and enough to get the plaintiffs attorney excited You will still get a lot of conflicting opinions and the fear mongering is very real.....Some of it is warranted and some is just sales based on scare tactics I have owned in my personal name and been sued personally not really a fun experience haha  

Unfortunately the race to the bottom pricing is real and it will remain for atleast the next year till after elections (currently it is a fear driven leadership and it produces fear) and clearing out the fear driven pricing by the panicking STR owners selling. 

And, frankly, I wonder if some of these folks who get a bunch of property seemingly overnight don't have paranoia, fear, anxiety, and live with the very real possibility of bankruptcy if things outside of their control happen in the market or a couple of pieces of bad luck strike.

My main gig is I own 28 Subway restaurant franchises, including in this town and if that's the rumor they want to spread, I'm fearful of the fall out to my restaurants.

There will be very little, if any, additional income coming in during your retirement.Rather than accumulate more money, the goal of retirement is simply to enjoy your life, while not running out of money.But this is, in fact, one of the most common fears about retirement.

And maybe a bigger issue than actual wildfire risk is just the fear of wildfire risk.

For all of the visitors that will continue to come.My current thinking is to look for a resale property(not new but not old) from a seller who is motivated to move their property due to the increasing supply driving down rental prices (buy fear, sell greed - as Warren Buffet says).
